How To Build A Gypsum Wall?

Gypsum wallboard is a widely-used building and finishing material. There are probably no houses or apartments or other dwellings left, where at least one gypsum wallboard is not used in some way. And why not – it is convenient and easy to install. Gypsum wallboards may be used to separate one room into two, or as a finishing material to cover walls with. The material is however too weak to carry the weight of a whole house, so it is not recommended to build all of the walls of gypsum wallboards. Gypsum wallboards are usually attached to wood framing. There are special requirements in installing a gypsum wallboard depending on the thickness of the wallboard – consult a specialist when buying your wallboard.
